Celebrating Local Businesses
Powered by Your Vote
At My Local Awards, we shine a spotlight on the UK’s best-rated local businesses. But here’s the difference, the winners aren’t chosen by panels or pay-to-win schemes. They’re chosen by the people who matter most: you. Every vote makes a difference, every business gets a fair chance, and together we celebrate the heartbeat of our communities.

Powered by People
Every award we run is decided by public vote. Not panels and not pay-to-win schemes. The people who use and love local businesses have the final say.
Celebrating Local Heroes
From family-run shops to independent trades and standout service providers, we shine a spotlight on the businesses that keep our communities alive.
Stronger Communities
By voting, you’re doing more than supporting a business, you’re helping local economies thrive and making sure great work gets recognised.
Fair Recognition
We believe every business deserves a fair chance. That’s why nominations are free, voting is open, and the results are transparent.
How it works
how it works
1
We Shortlist Local Businesses
Our team researches and identifies some of the best-rated businesses across the UK, from independent shops and trades to standout service providers. Using customer reviews, online reputation, and local recommendations, we create a shortlist of businesses that truly deserve recognition.
2
The Public Vote
Once nominations are live, it’s over to the people. Customers, supporters, and members of the community cast their votes online to back the businesses they love most. Every vote counts, giving local businesses the recognition they deserve without expensive entry fees or industry bias.

Winners Are Crowned
At the end of the voting period, we announce the winners in each category and location. These businesses are celebrated as the top choice in their community — chosen by real customers, not judges. Winning a My Local Award helps businesses build trust, attract new customers, and showcase their success.
